At Haven of Living Hope CBO, our Counseling Project is a cornerstone of our mission to support families and empower young boys. FARMING & KITCHEN GARDEN PREPARATION
Our Farming & Kitchen Garden Preparation project is designed to engage boys and the community in cultivating a healthier lifestyle through hands-on agricultural activities. This initiative not only provides essential skills in sustainable farming and food production but also fosters a sense of responsibility, teamwork, and well-being among participants. Through this project, boys learn valuable lessons in land preparation, planting, nurturing crops, and harvesting, which not only contribute to their personal growth but also enhance food security within the community. By working together in the garden, participants build strong social bonds, develop problem-solving skills, and gain a deeper appreciation for nature and healthy living.
